This is one of my favourite places to eat in San Francisco. The food is excellent, staff friendly and it’s never difficult to get a table. At first glance the menu appears simple but Fog City elevate basics like fried chicken to new levels.

We wanted a "snack" lunch on the day of our night flight home from SF to Heathrow, forgetting that there is really no such thing as a "snack" in America! Our son took us to Fog City, which is just down the road to him. He had a burger and my wife and I had the pulled pork. It was very nice, but quite a lot, in a bun and with fries. We did also manage to find room for a piece of key lime pie for dessert, though.

Group of 4, we had the Truffle Fries for an app. to share, very good. For our dinner we had the Sole, Fried Chicken, Brisket, and the Skirt Steak which were all very good. I definitely recommend the Skirt Steak and the Key Lime Pie. Very nice place. The staff and service was top notch. White Sangria was very tasty.

Dec 2024 A long standing, SF institution, that has been recently been updated inside and out. If you are liking for a place with outdoor seating for you and your dog, Fog City is a great choice on a nice afternoon and there is a dig friendly urban park right next door! The food and drinks are all top notch with lots of great options! They are also very accomdating to those with special dietary needs. A great place to hang out and watch the City float by... Yum!

Oct 2024 Such a fun, iconic spot! I loved the atmosphere and it was really easy to find parking. The food was fantastic also, and I'd recommend in particular the bouillabaisse and the shrimp scampi.
